Talbott Funeral Home offers all bank trust funded pre-arrangements. These monies can be deposited into the West Virginia bank of your choice, for eventual payment towards the type of service you desire. Also, you may completely pre-arrange all services, and choose your casket, vault, or any other merchandise you wish to pre-pay. Your choices are itemized on a contract, and the fund is set-up in an interest bearing account. This will lock in current prices and we, as a funeral service provider, cannot retrieve any additional monies from your family at the time of your passing. We are allowed to bill the prices that are on our General Price List at the time of your passing, using only the trust fund and any interest the account has made, from the time the account was established.

Another pre-arrangement option is to establish a Depositary Account, into which you can deposit monies for eventual payment of your funeral service.

Finally, another option is to assign an Insurance Policy over to the Funeral Home, at the time of your passing.

Whatever pre-arrangement plan you choose, there will be a contract drawn up and placed on file with the Office of the West Virginia Attorney General, and your designated bank or insurance company. All funeral homes in the state of WVA are regulated through the Office of the West Virginia Attorney General.
