Obituary:	Mrs. Martha Evelyn Ferguson Carr age 87 years and a resident of 259 Terrace Ave in Elkins and more recently a resident of the Talbott Personal Care Home in Belington departed this life 4:25pm Monday April 9th, 2007 at the care facility following an extended illness. She was born September 6th 1919 at Wayne County Indiana the only daughter of the late Linville and Lena Luddington Ferguson. On August 29th 1941 she was united in marriage to John P. Carr who preceded her in death on February 3rd 2002. She is survived by two sons Jay Carr and wife Carol of Hummelstown, Pa., William G. Carr of Elkins, WV. One daughter Marnnie Holden and husband Richard of Timonium Md. Also surviving are four grandchildren Kristen Ross, Chad Carr, Ryan Haden, Jon-Marc Haden, and two great-grandchildren Ainsley Ross, and Graham Ross. Mrs. Carr attended the Dennison University and also attended graduated from the Washington school for secretaries in Washington DC. . She was a long time Active member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Elkins and was a very active member of the Elkins YMCA. Mrs. Carr was a devoted wife, mother and a very treasured friend to many in the Elkins area. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family ask that memorial contributions be made to the YMCA Davis Street Elkins, WV. 26241, or the Grace Episcopal Church Randolph Ave. Elkins WV. 26241. The Talbott Funeral home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Martha Evelyn Ferguson Carr.
