Obituary: Mrs. Sharon Rose Everhart age 48 years went home to be with the Lord 7:20 am Friday, September 11th, 2009 at her residence in Montrose after a short battle with cancer.

She was born February 28, 1961 in Clarksburg, WV a daughter of the late John White Jr. and Martha (White) McIntyre. She was also the step-daughter of the late Jack D. McIntyre.

On June 12th 1982 she was united in marriage to Don Everhart who resides at their home in Montrose. Also surviving are two sons Jeremy McIntyre of Belington, Eric Everhart of Montrose, three sisters Connie Seech and husband Jeff of Belington, Linda Baumgardner and husband Ralph of Belington, Carol Smith of Elkins, one step sister Jackie McIntyre of Charleston, one brother R. Michael White of Belington, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and she was preceded in death by three brothers, David, Homer, and John White, one step brother Billy McIntyre and two infant sisters.

Sharon attended the schools of Barbour County and graduated from Philip Barbour High School in 1979. She lived and worked in several states including Florida, California, Tennessee and Virginia before returning to West Virginia. She was most recently employed with Res Care and Select in Home Care of Randolph County. Sharon was a happy person to be around, even through her illness, and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and devoted homemaker. She is a member of the Faithway Baptist Church near Belington.

Friends will be received on Monday September 14th at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 1 pm to 7 pm when final rites will then be conducted from the Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Downing Gregory officiating. At the request of the deceased her remains will be cremated. Interment will follow at a later date.
