| Obituary: | Mrs. Trudy Elaine Mahanes age 52 years a resident of Coalton, WV. departed this life 8:05 pm Monday May 4th 2009 at her residence following a brief illness. Death was unexpected. She was born March 9th, 1957 at Elkins, WV a daughter of the late Charles Davis and Mona Hymes Mace. She was united in marriage to Andrew D. Mahanes in 1974 who survives at their residence in Coalton, WV. Children surviving include one daughter Becky J. Higgins and husband Shawn of Coalton, two sons Andrew D. Mahanes Jr. and wife Shonnette of Elkins, Bobby J. Mahanes and wife Melissa of Coalton, six grandchildren Katrina Mahanes, Deanna Higgins, Kelsey Mahanes, Macey Mahanes, Jacob Higgins and Dylan Mahanes. Surviving siblings include two sisters Iris Joan Riffle and husband Ed of Coalton, Gail Sandella and husband Joe Ashtabula of Ohio, two brothers Charles D. Mace Jr. of Coalton, Carl Leonard Mace and wife Nancy of Coalton, nieces and nephews: Jay, Mike, Johnny, Randy, David, Donald, Roxanne, Michelle, Michael, Paulette, Jimmy, Ragina, Carmen and also survived by other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Jennifer A. Mahanes, one brother Jerry Mace, one nephew Terry Riffle, mother-in-law Julie May Scott Mahanes, father-in-law Ernest A. Mahanes, and one brother-in-law Steven Lewis Mahanes. Mrs. Mahanes enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, listening to Christian and gospel music, watching the satellite game channel, cooking for her family, Marlboro lights and Maxwell house coffee. She attended the schools of Randolph County, Geneva Ohio, and was a homemaker. The Family wishes to express a special thanks to Mountain Hospice, Rev. Roger Foster and wife Birdie, Roger and Haley Riley, Margie Riley, John and Sharon Mahanes, Eddie and Kay Mahanes as well as all other nieces, nephews and other relatives for their care and support. At the request of the deceased her remains will be cremated. Memorial Services will follow at a later date. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Mountain Hospice 1401 Crim Ave. Belington, WV 26250. THE MAHANES FAMILY [2009-05-09 23:35:59] WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE WHO HAS EXPRESSED THERE SYMPATHIES AND EVERYTHING THAT EVERYONE HAS DONE FOR OUR FAMILY IN TIME OF NEED. WE REALLY APPRICATE EVERYTHING THE FLOWERS,CARDS,FOOD,AND THE HELP OF EACH FAMILY MEMBER AND FRIEND THROUGH OUT THESE HARD TIMES AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE HARD TIMES FOR US AND SOMETHING THAT WILL GET EASIER BUT NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. THIS WOMAN CARRIED THE GOOD OUT IN EVERYONE AND NOW IT IS OUR TIME TO DO THE SAME FOR HER. WE TRUELY MISS AND LOVE THIS WOMAN WITH OUR OF OUR HEARTS AND ARE SO GLAD THAT SHE WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE A BIG PART OF OUR LIFE AND STAY WITH US IN OUR HEARTS AND THOUGHTS FOREVER THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE FOR EVERYTHING. |
