Joan Johnson Sturm [2009-01-22 15:53:51] Ronnie, Gary, Holly and each of your families, my heart goes out to you in this time of sorrow. Jerry was a good man. You never knew what he was up to. He was quite the prankster. He liked to tell jokes and make people laugh. He was the type of guy who could make you smile even when you were having a bad day. It will seem weird not seeing him working in town holding the stop sign, directing traffic, driving the city truck, working where ever he was needed around town or just simply running into him at the grocery store. He will be missed!!! |

Shelley Fenstermacher Hornick [2009-01-22 11:09:17] Gary & Ron, I was so sorry to hear about your dad. I only met him a few times when we were doing something here at work but knew him to be a fine, loving & funny man because of the stories you would tell of him. Keep his memory alive by telling those stories to the kids often. You are in all our thoughts & prayers! Love & Prayers, Shelley & The "Home Show Gang" |

Anita Thorne [2009-01-22 06:39:41] Jerry was a kind-hearted soul and was always there for anyone in their time of need. He would tell stories and have to stop and burst out in laughter before he finished. He had everyone at City Hall laughing until they cried. Jery will surely be missed. He loved his family so very much. |

Max & Jo Grove [2009-01-21 08:41:39] We will miss Jerry very much. He always had a smile for those he met each day and as he would go by our home on River Road, he would always wave, have a big smile and many times would stop to say a few words. There will be a void in our lives without him. |
