Talbott Licensee in charge Funeral Director and Embalmer Timothy Mark Hathaway age 52 formerly of Economy Boro, PA went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Saturday June 14th, 2008, at his residence in Belington, WV. He was born January 6th, 1956, in Sewickley, PA. The son of Donald D. and Joyce Golden Hathaway. He was a graduate of Rochester High School class of 1973. He worked with his father Don in the family business Fantasia Machinery Transport, of Sewickley, PA. A self employed Truck driver all his life, Tim was an expert in Transporting oversize loads extending all over North America. As an avid sportsmen Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing and nature. He enjoyed playing Bluegrass music on his Mandolin and with his daughter, but most of all Tim enjoyed children. He not only enjoyed his own but his nieces and nephews and any child he had contact with. He would spend hours telling them stories or teaching a child something new. This is where he found the utmost joy. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Deborah Ann (Durr) Hathaway, formerly of New Sewickley Township, and two loving daughters Olivia Rachel age 12 and Daphne Allison age 10 with whom he resided in WV. He is also survived by his parents Don and Joyce Hathaway of Economy Boro, PA., Three brothers Duane of Economy Boro, PA, Michael and his wife Lisa Jo of Darlington Township, PA,. Eric Sean, of Butler PA and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one infant sister Susan Melissa in 1960. Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home, 210 Brandenburg St. in Belington on Friday June 20th from 5 to 9p.m. and on Saturday until 11am the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with Evangelist Michael Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Talbott Cemetery near Belington. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a College Trust Fund established for his daughter’s Olivia and Daphne at the Citizens National Bank 211 Third Street Elkins WV 26416. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Timothy Mark Hathaway. Condolences may be expressed to the family at talbottfuneralhome.com |
