Funeral Director and Embalmer Mrs. Noble E. “Jean” Glenn age 85 years a resident of 104 South Sturmer St in Belington departed this life Thursday evening , November 29, 2007 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She had been in her usual health and death was unexpected. She was born February 21, 1922 at Whitesville, WV a daughter of Lemuel and Pearl Alderman Gunnoe. On August 21, 1944 she was united in marriage to Roy E. Glenn who preceded her in death on September 29, 1994. Mrs. Glenn is survived by one daughter Margaret Ann Glenn of Sidney, OH, two sisters Pat Pierce and husband William of Sidney, OH, Peggy Chancey and husband Alan of Brookville FL, one brother Richard Gunnoe and wife Freda of Charleston, WV. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by one sister Sibyl Snodgrass, four brothers Harold “Harry”, James “Tom”, Donald, and Robert Gunnoe. Mrs. Glenn attended the Sherman High School, was employed in the defense plants during WWII and was a homemaker. Mrs. Glenn enjoyed reading , crossword and word search puzzles, and was a Protestant by faith. Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 5 to 9 pm on Sunday, December 2nd and Monday until 11 am the funeral hour when final rites will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Arden Beck officiating. Interment will follow in the Fraternal Cemetery in Belington. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Noble E. “Jean” Glenn.
