Talbott Licensee in charge Funeral Director and Embalmer Mr. Benjamin David “Benny” Herron age 30 years a resident of Brown Ave. in Belington departed this life Tuesday, November 6th 2007 at the Chalk Point Power Generation Station in Aquasco Md. from injuries sustained in a fall at the power station. He was Born March 10th ,1977 at Elkins, WV a son of the late Larry Joseph Herron and Jennifer “Jenny” Brown Schott who survives at Ligonier Pa. In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters, Mercedes Herron, LaDonna Herron, one son Jayden Herron; and his companion Angie Burner all of Belington, his maternal grandmother Alfreda Moore, his paternal grandmother Bertha Herron both of Belington, two brothers Jacob Schott, and Anthony Hammonds, and one sister, Kelly Blake. Also surviving are his step-father Stephen Schott, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a whole host of friends. Benny was a 1995 graduate of Philip Barbour High School, and was a former employee of Circle M Trucking , Ryan’s Repair and was currently employed at the Mark III Construction Co. of Thomas WV. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and pool shooter. He was a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral home in Belington from 5-9pm on Friday November 9th 2007 and on Saturday until 11am the funeral hour when final rites will conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jimmie E. Tallman officiating. Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery near Belington. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Benjamin David “Benny” Herron. Condolences may be made to the family at talbottfuneralhome.com. |

He had never met him before this job but liked him and was very saddened and upset to hear about his death. Mike was working at another power plant in Washington, DC when the accident happened.
