| Obituary: | Mr. Billy Joe Fox Jr. age 48 years a resident of Junior, West Virginia departed this life Thursday, morning, May 10, 2007 in the Richmond Medical College of Virginia., following a heart attack while in Richmond attending the Crown Royal 400 from the Richmond International Race Way. He was born April 23, 1959 at Elkins a son of the late Billy Joe Fox, Sr. and Barbara Jean Guire Fox. Mr. Fox is survived by one daughter Tara Shreves and husband Michael, six sisters Diana Hill and husband Lonny of Bridgeport WV., , Marian Heston and husband Bob of Chesnee, SC. Tonya Ware of Inman, SC, Barb Swartz and husband Jim of Belington, Kristi Daugherty of Elkins, and Beth Fox of Gaffney, SC; two brothers John Fox and wife Rose and Lawrence Fox and wife Melissa, all of Turtle Creek, WV, two grandchildren, Steven and Ella Grace. Also surviving are 22 nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant brother Joseph Fox. He was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School, and before becoming disabled he had been employed as a steel construction worker and had worked in the oil fields. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, mushroom hunter, and NASCAR fan. He was a great sports enthusiast and a great WVU Mountaineer Fan and was a Protestant. Friends will be received from the Talbott Funeral Home, 210 Brandenburg Street, Belington from 10am to 2pm on Saturday, May 12th. Final rites will then be conducted at 2pm from the Talbott Chapel with the Rev. Walt McGee officiating. Interment will then follow in the Trinity Cemetery near Belington. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Billy Joe Fox, Jr. Condolences may be expressed to the family at talbottfuneralhome.com. |
